Happy day after the biggest commercial holiday ever (after maybe Christmas!). I was not expecting to really celebrate V-day. It was squaring up to be a long working day, followed by 4 hours of class, and getting home after 9:30. My sweet hubby of course made me a delicious breakfast of red heart shaped pancakes. YUM :) He even put candles all around the pancakes. Despite the wicked migraine I woke up with, I really enjoyed eating them slathered in syrup! Then the day began. It was busy. I ended up calling in to my internship sick because of a really bad migraine and neck spasms. Yes, I'm WAY to young to have such aggravating neck problems...but I do...thank you genetics...I was up all night unable to sleep. SO, my sweet hubby got me an appointment with the Dr at his office and I got a series of injections into the muscles of my neck. I have to say, it doesn't feel better yet! It is really sore after probably 20 injections! ouch... not exactly the best valentines gift, but I felt better after the last time I got the injections. Then I had to go to class. Class is (fun?). We get yelled at a lot about how incompetent we are, how we don't follow instructions, blah blah. Well, in the last 15 minutes of class, my adorable hubby showed up with a rose. He waited outside the classroom for me, BUT the back of the room has glass windows. My instructor said "oh, there's a very handsome man waiting outside with a rose." The WHOLE class turned around and there was Ricky. He looked INCREDIBLE!!! So handsome in his suit and tie holding a single beautiful red rose for me. I think I turned redder than the rose. haha. Every one thought it was so sweet and thoughtful. I didn't get to go out for valentine's day and I felt miserable for most of the day, but that moment where I turned around and saw my sweetheart waiting for me to come to him was amazing. I am so in love and feel grateful everyday that I can fall more and more in love as the years go by. We have been married for almost 6 years and it feels like just yesterday. I am truly blessed to have a partner in this life that is as thoughtful, smart, handsome, (sexy !!), and everything I could have asked for. I love you babe! I can't wait to celebrate V-day in 50 years!
