Saturday was some of the most fun I've EVER had...minus running 6 miles with a 10 pound camera and equipment... I was asked to photograph a friend's wedding. But this was to be no ordinary wedding. No. This crazy amazing couple decided to get married at the Gladiator Rock n Run mud run race. Yea! Who does that? Really AWESOME people, that's who!
The beautiful bride wore an $8 Goodwill dress with a long train and the bridesmaids wore teal sparkly dresses (also from a thrift store). The groom wore a tux (which had to be hot) and they all ran the entire course and did all the obstacles! It was amazing. We all had so much fun.
After the run, they muddy bride and groom got up on stage and were wed in front of all the participants. Then they shared the most delicious homemade tamales and red velvet cupcakes for the "reception." (P.S. I want to be part of that family now because the tamales were to die for! and they are just a ton of fun!).
I also hit my all time record for blog hits yesterday! I got 80 hits just yesterday! No. Seriously. That's 10 times more than I usually get and 4 times more than my last record. I feel so blessed to get the opportunity to capture special moments with my camera!
