Rene or Renee? That is the question...

Hey everyone.

It has been forever since I've posted anything. The truth is, everything exciting that is happening has to do with Milo, my dog. I guess I felt a little embarrassed having all my posts be about my puppy, so I kind of just avoided the whole blog situation. So what is this blog about you ask? Well, I am going to explain myself. I have been questioned and confronted about my heading. Some have said, "wow, that's cute! How'd you do it?" and others have said, "wait, that's not how you spell your middle name..." So here we go.

No, legally my name is Alanna Rene (Black) Rowley. Phonetically it should probably be Alana Renee. If you look it up, Rene is actually male and Renee is female. Hmmm, my parents were confused!! So, the reason I spelled my name Renee in the logo actually had nothing to do with phonetics or if it is the male or female version. Truthfully, it was symmetry! It just plain looked more even that way!

So whats up with the logo thing? Actually, I've been tossing around the idea of starting to sell some of my photography. That is my digital logo. So what do you think about it? Any opinions on the look/style of the logo? Leave your comments!My business name is alannarene followed by "photography," interiors," or "framing" depending. I've started learning about custom framing and am trying to get my portfolio beefed up a little bit so I can actually start making money for having fun! (what a concept!). I'm working on starting another blog/website to post some of my stuff.
