What a great Easter Sunday! It is sunny and warm outside and the birds have been singing since daybreak. We have some really pretty birds in our yard. My favorite (that Ricky showed me) is a bird with a deep red head and neck. I'm not really sure why they've chosen to hang out in our yard...its covered in mud, jungle-like grass, and enough flowers to count on one hand.
It's been a busy weekend! Ricky finished his first set of National Board Exams last week. Let me tell you, life has been a lot less stressful now that that's done! (love you sweetie!) Last week Ricky, Milo and I went on a little family "hike." Really, it was a walk through the blazing hot So Cal sun. Milo came home wet, stinky, and with a tick in his neck...fun. This weekend, we spent some time scraping popcorn ceilings and putting up crown moulding. I only have four words to say about that: I HATE crown moulding. 'Nough said :)
One more piece of good news! I am typing this post with my new MacBook Pro. Yes, I have gone to the dark side and bought an Apple product. I never thought I'd say this about the company, but they put out a WICKED COOL product! I love it. Well, I'm off to Easter dinner with the Rowleys. We have a fresh strawberry pie to deliver! YUM :)
